What this app does
Home Maintenance Reminder helps users track home systems, maintenance tasks, service history, reminders, and attachment metadata such as manuals or warranty records.
Data stored on your device
The app stores a device installation identity on the Android device so the hosted API can recognize which records belong to this app install.
Data synced with the hosted API
The current app can refresh homes, assets, maintenance tasks, maintenance history, and attachment metadata from the hosted MySQL-backed API. When a task is completed or snoozed, the app can also send related maintenance details such as completion date, completion type, notes, and cost amount to the API.
Data that currently stays local
Reminder preferences such as quiet hours and notification toggles can still be managed on-device, while homes, assets, tasks, history, attachments, and contacts are loaded from the API for this device scope.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, reminder schedules and quiet-hour preferences are used on-device to schedule local maintenance alerts. Push notifications and advertising identifiers are not used.
How data is used
Data is used to show maintenance records, reminders, history, attachment metadata, and service details inside the app, and to keep the latest maintenance state in sync with the hosted service.
Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell personal data. Data is not shared with third-party advertisers. Data may be processed by the infrastructure required to host the API and database for this app.
Retention and control
Users can reload the latest hosted workspace data for the current device. Server-side records may remain while the hosted service is active and may also persist for a limited time in operational backups.
